Faminder helps a family coordinate the care of someone they love — medications, tasks, visits and appointments, and a simple log of how they're doing. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to the information your family puts in the app.
The short version: your family's care information lives on your devices and in your own iCloud account. Faminder has no servers of its own, we cannot see your data, and we never sell or share it. There are no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.
Nothing. Faminder's developer does not collect, receive, or have access to any personal information from the app. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting services, and no third-party trackers or SDKs that receive your data.
The app lets your family record care-related information, such as medication names and times, who's helping with what, upcoming appointments, observations about symptoms and wellbeing, and contact details on an information card. This information is entered voluntarily by your family, stays under your control, and is used only inside the app — to show your family what needs doing and what changed today. Faminder does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations of any kind.
If you turn them on, reminders (for example, medication times or an upcoming appointment) are scheduled and delivered on your own device. No notification content is sent to us or to any third party.
The optional Organizer plan is sold through the App Store and processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment information. Apple's handling of purchase data is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
Your information is yours. You can edit or delete entries inside the app at any time. Deleting the app removes its on-device data. If family sync is on, the organizer can stop sharing from within the app, and circle data stored in the organizer's iCloud can be removed through their iCloud account. Invited family members can leave a circle at any time.
Faminder is intended for adults coordinating care for a family member. It is not directed at children, and it knowingly collects nothing from anyone — including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
